NAVY WINGS TV series moving towards pre-production
July 19, 2009
(Los Angeles) Featuring the best and brightest candidates working towards their graduation as Naval and Marine Corps Aviators, the series NAVY WINGS is the first behind-the-scenes effort to truly chronicle all aspects of the training experience. BMP has released an intense 'sizzle reel' designed to promote the project to sponsors and television outlets worldwide (see embedded video below).
BMP has worked on the show concept with Oceanwatch Productions and the Department of Defense to provide unique expertise and access that will result in a fantastic viewing experience for television, Web and Mobile audiences in the core 17-35 age group. Both male and female pilot-candidates will be followed during the course of the series, which will be filmed in High-Definition at locations throughout California, Florida and Texas, plus at sea. Towards the conclusion of Season 1, viewers will be taken out to the wide ocean as our candidates attempt to land on nuclear-powered aircraft carriers. State-of-the-art video capture and production technology provided by Canon, Panasonic, Sony and a range of specialty suppliers are being employed to ensure the most dramatic flying views yet seen on television.
